I became involved with Cystic Fibrosis for the first time when I competed in the Par Wars Golf Tournament for Cystic Fibrosis 2 years ago. I learned about the foundation and decided I wanted to commit my time to the charity. Being an ER nurse I had an understanding and wanted to help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. A year later I learned my best friend's kids both had been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and at the same time learned about the Mauli Ola Foundation. They live in Canada so I made a promise to myself and to my friend I would continue to donate my time in golf and in surf thru the charities annual events to help bring awareness about the disease and to become part of searching for a cure. My goal is to have both Sydney and Logan be at one of the surf camps to teach them to surf. I'm a Professional Long Drive Competitor/Emergency Room Nurse/Avid Surfer. Recently featured on WSSM Cover. Travel for both sports and am currently training for golf tournaments and for the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships in October. I've qualified for the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships in 2007 and the International Women's Long Drive Alliance Championships in 2009.
