Mark Richard Gabriel, born march 6, 1969 grew up surfing the beaches of South Orange County in southern California and started professional snowboarding at 19 years of age. By the age of 21 Mark was a professional snowboarder, influenced by snowboard legends like Andy Hetzel, Matty Goodman and Shaun Palmer. Mark has always been a top competitor and stand out performer in surfing, snowboarding, motocross, skateboarding, water skiing, and BMX. During the 90’s Mark was considered by his peers to be one of the world’s best “Cross Over” athletes and more recently competed in the Ultimate Boarder contest that consists of surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding in one contest. Mark’s childhood passion for action sports has been a life long pursuit that has never ended to this day.

Mark loves to introduce action sports to kids and is always willing to help anybody that needs help. “If I can find time to help others, I must be doing something right”. Now, Mark is going to dedicate some of that time introducing surfing to kids that have genetic disabilities and will be a featured surf instructor for The Mauli Ola Foundation.
