Last year, Sunny Garcia and Makua Rothman were the hosts and were joined by Kala Alexander, Bruce Irons, Julian Wilson, Dusty Payne, Fred Patacchia Jr., Kalani Robb, Christian and Nathan Fletcher, Benji Weatherley, Brett Simpson, Sean Moody, Hans Hagen, Gavin Beschen and more. All funds raised will go to supporting surf experience days for kids and young adults who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and other genetic disorders. For CF patients, it has been discovered that the ocean air, when inhaled, helps assist the breakdown of the thick and sticky mucus that lines their lungs, making it easier to breath. |
