The Mauli Ola Foundation, a public non-profit organization dedicated to assisting those with genetic diseases, is pleased to announce its upcoming golf tournament to aid children and young adults with Cystic Fibrosis. This event is dedicated to raising funds for research and future participatory events for these young patients. The event will be held on December 5th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. The venue is the impressive Turtle Bay Resort Palmer Course in O’ahu HI. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the event, along with a long drive hole, closest to the pin and putting contest. The event will also host a silent auction with raffle prizes.
For this event, MOF is teaming up with Ambry Genetics, Da Hui and Volcom in a united effort to further the quest for enhanced treatments. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disease affecting the lungs by blocking airways, leading to serious lung problems. Extensive clinical trials have clarified that inhaling saltwater mist has a powerful effect on the lungs; re-hydration of the lungs allows CF patients to more easily eliminate the damaging mucus.
Information about the event will be provided on the link below (adobe PDF reader required). If you have any questions about the event, please call 714-369-5464 or email info@mauliola.org
